SOLS applauds and acknowledges all individuals, societies, associations and organizations whose efforts are to restore, beautify, introduce historical value and give voice to the decedents in abandoned cemeteries and potter's fields around the world. Although SOLS is not affiliated with the Martinez Historical Society, it currently supports their Potter's Field Project located in the Alhambra Pioneer Cemetery, Martinez, California as part of our efforts to help build community. Their goals are to identify its inhabitants, recognize their contributions, while preserving with respect and care an important outdoor museum .
